How to Free Up Storage
Archive old records
Use Salesforce Data Export / Data Loader to export and delete records older than N years (e.g. closed Activities, resolved Cases).
Enable field history pruning
If field history tracking is heavy, enable Field History Retention settings to auto-purge history older than 18 months.
Delete unused leads / duplicates
Run a deduplication or mass-delete job on stale Leads, test records, or duplicate Contacts.
Remove Campaign Members
Purge campaign member records from old/completed campaigns no longer needed for reporting.
Chatter cleanup
Archive or delete old Chatter groups and feed items via Data Loader on the FeedItem object.
Review custom object data
Audit custom objects for orphaned records or rows from legacy integrations no longer in use.
